require regular maintenance like firmware updates to work properly. Though
sometimes it is not required to update the firmware, sometimes your Arlo camera
may stop working if not updated.
Though cameras are set
to update automatically, it is better to update it manually whenever you have
the chance. You can log in into your Arlo app or website to update the
camera firmware. Though if you are new to Arlo and don’t know How to login Arlo camera, follow the
below steps -

Open the Arlo app or go to arlo.netgear.com and
login to your account.
2.
Click on the Settings, followed by My Devices.
3.
Select the Arlo camera base station whose
firmware you want to update and click on Device Info > Firmware > Update.
4.
Wait for the base station to update its
firmware.
5.
Again go to Device info and click on Device
Settings > My Devices.
6.
Select your Arlo camera to update firmware and
then click on Device Info > Firmware > Update.
Wait for some time to let update finishing and then repeat
the 5-6 to update the firmware of each
